What's the best way to begin a lesson? Well, I'm glad you're asking!

I always begin with something fun and interactive, and in this case, I'm presenting you a simple but useful game: 5words!

​

5words is a fast-paced card game with the goal of helping students wake up and warm up to get their brains ready for the lesson.

​

How to play!

Pick 2 cards, keep one and give one away to another classmate.

Think of at least 5 words with the suffix in your cards.

You get one point for each word you get over 5. That means, if you get 6 words, you get 1 point, 7 words means 2 points, and so on.

How to win

Get more points than everyone else! Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

But watch out! There are 4 levels based on their difficulty.

1 being the easiest and 4 the most difficult.
